Whispers Of Blue - Original A4 

Whispers of Blue is inspired by my love for cats, especially ginger cats and my love of nature. My childhood cat, Misti, used to love sleeping in the garden amongst the flowers, so creating this piece of art was a particularly heartwarming one for me.

For this painting, I wanted the cat to appear almost entranced by the flowers, to represent the way cats are so curious and inquisitive. I of course also wanted to include some of my classic abstract elements such as the ink marks highlighting the random patterns watercolours make. As well as the bold gold section painted using Windsor and Newton Gouache paint. 

Created entirely by hand, this is a one-of-a-kind original artwork. This artwork will never be recreated, however Kate Roylance Art reserves the right to use this piece in prints, unless otherwise specified with the buyer.
